After graduating from Purdue I set out to make a documentary about the Glee Club. The PVGC was singing at Carnegie hall that year, and I met a Purdue grad and filmmaker (forgot his name) who gave me some suggestions for camera techniques, lighting, interviewing, and style. The goal was to be a first-person overview of the Glee Club as an organization, supported by interviews, concert and rehearsal footage, as well as bus-loading, sirs meetings, backstage antics, etc. Continue reading

This End of Season has a few interesting points. Hall of Fame performers Ken Knowles (4 solos), Mike Chung, and Dave Pope give their last official campus performances. Al Stewart’s story about performing “Mamie” for President Eisenhower (and the First Lady) in 1953 is definitely worth a listen.
