Commentary
My first year in GC was Bill’s last, and some songs like this one would subsequently fall out of the repertoire (as many more have since, no doubt). On emotional songs like this, Bill’s tight command of the club’s phrasing and generous dynamic range enabled the group to deeply connect with the audience. Anyone have a recording of “My Thoughts Like Haunting Music”? I don’t see one on here, and I would guess that’s another one last performed Bill’s last year. |
