Volunteer

The PVGCDB began as a way to enjoy the archival recordings that were distributed at the 125th weekend. It now serves as a fun way to browse and interact with material from all decades, using a Wikipedia-style interface for visitors interested in collaborating. We invite PVGC members and fans from all generations to help name, categorize, tag, or simply listen to recordings to improve the content on the site. A contribution of simply naming a soloist on a particular recording, or splitting audio tracks from an entire performance will help keep the database fresh and interesting for all users.

The songs volunteer chart shows a listing of songs and any gaps in content. Those registered users who have “Editor” access are able to make edits in real time. Visit the contact page to request an upgrade in your membership level.
