This just in from Paul Royer:
Someone wanted the ability to listen to a whole album and not just the
individual tracks. A single track along with a CUE file is one way that
would work. I use this with some albums where the whole thing was meant to
be listened to in sequence with no gaps, but I can also listen to individual
tracks.

Just wanted to let you know that I still have my new man folder (binder) of sheet music which also has many additional hard copies of songs collected throughout my tenure (‘01-‘05). If you like to start a repository of hard copies of sheet music, I’d be happy to scan and share what I have.

Might be good to add “arranger” as an optional bit of information to collect on each song. Some of the neatest things we did, IMO, were custom arrangements by assistant directors. Kitty Campbell, for example, I think did the arrangement for Walkin My Baby Back home and maybe also for I Love You Just the Way You Are.

Found a bug (might be in the platform you’re using rather than your bug). When I click on 1990s as a category (https://pvgcdb.com/songs/category/1990s), tags show up on the first page of results, but not subsequent pages.

Put this in the wrong spot because I wasn’t paying attention, so copying it here. I find myself wanting to be able to play song from the song list within each collection rather than having to click into each song’s page. Thanks.

Saw that you added the ability to play individual tracks a collection. If you add play all (all songs in collection) as well, I think that will cover what users will want. Thanks.

As in, playing the entire list of tracks in one session (like playing a whole CD?)
The CUE file Royer mentioned might be a way to do this. (this is an odd thing that isn’t super easy to do within a website context, but it’s really easy in iTunes =)
I can probably do it with javascript; might not be quick or easy, but seems to be some decent how-tos for it.

On collection pages, I now have a more advanced player widget that can play the entire selection in sequence or a random progression of tracks.
